Our Mission

The Falmouth Housing Corporation’s primary goal is to develop compassionate solutions to housing and homelessness problems for our most vulnerable populations; the elderly, disabled and families – particularly those with children – living in Falmouth and the surrounding communities of Cape Cod.

The Falmouth Housing Corporation’s mission statement:

To research and advocate for the production, maintenance, support, construction, rehabilitation, financing, and improvement of affordable housing and housing programs for the benefit of persons of very low and low income and others in need of assistance.
To educate the community regarding programs about the provision of affordable housing, the need for affordable housing and the benefits to the community by the creation of affordable housing.
To support studies, research and conduct surveys regarding all matters related to the housing needs and goals of the Town of Falmouth, and to participate in, or act in conjunction with the Town of Falmouth in the creation of developing, maintaining and financing affordable housing.
To stimulate by example or otherwise, to renovate and improve properties within the Town of Falmouth to promote neighborhood improvement, and to ensure safe, sanitary, attractive and affordable housing within the Town of Falmouth.
To solicit, receive, acquire or purchase, gift or sell, operate and convey land and properties within the Town of Falmouth to benefit and expand affordable housing options for very low, low and low-moderate income individuals and families living in the Town of Falmouth.
