Little Pond Place Apartments

In 2010 the Town of Falmouth purchased over 21 acres of undeveloped land at the northern tip of Little Pond. The parcel was subdivided and restrictions placed on the land per the requirements of the Community Preservation Act, restricting its use for Community Housing, Open Space Conservation, and Recreation.
The Falmouth Housing Corporation was selected to build community housing, and in 2020, completed the project. The Little Pond Place Apartments are situated on approximately 4 acres with ten 1-bedroom, twenty-six 2-bedroom, and four 3-bedroom apartments. The site also includes four accessible first floor apartments. The apartments range in size, but the 1-bedroom units are approximately 650 square feet, the 2-bedroom units are approximately 1,000 square feet, and the three bedroom units are approximately 1,450 square feet.
The Little Pond Apartments have ample tenant parking, laundry and trash facilities on site. Additionally, a resident community center with outdoor tables and chairs, a children’s playground, a playing field, and well landscaped lawns and plantings are enjoyed by tenants. The housing complex is primarily a family-oriented location and is considered low income – ranging from 30% – 60% of Area Median Income (see AMI table).
The Cape Cod Regional Transportation bus line runs along Spring Bars Road. Little Pond Apartments are within walking distance to a wide variety of services, employment opportunities, shops, restaurants and public parks.
